If you know me in real life, you’ll know that I’m obsessed with using my planner. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day to fill it up and figure everything I need to do out. So I thought it would be a great idea to include a post on how I fill out my planner each week, along with all the different stickers I use to decorate it.
Don’t you just love the look of a clean planner? Almost as much as I love the look of a planner all ready for the week…
Some of the supplies used here:
- Bible verse stickers
- Monthly budget stickers
- “Turn your dreams into plans” stickers
- Church stickers
- Meal planning dashboard
- Stabilo pens
First step: stickers! A lot of these are just to let me know what I have going on during the week. Of course, some of them are also for fun – like the bible verse stickers and the pretty bar on the right side. I’m currently in a program where I go to the hospital during the day and work in the evening, so that’s why I have the ‘doctor’ stickers for every day.
Next up is writing in the schedule. That’s what I use the first box for. I already wrote when I have Mass on Sundays (since I forgot I was doing this in stages), but here comes the rest of the plans for the week. Of course, these can change from day to day, but some things I know I’m going to have to do during the week (like go to work).
Then comes my to-do items for at home, which I put in the third box. Mostly this is updating my Tailwind and taking all my medications. Sometimes it involves cleaning, but I don’t have anything in particular written down for that yet. The to-dos tend to evolve more during the week, but this is things I know I’m going to have to do.
And lastly, my work to-dos. These also tend to evolve throughout the week, and I can’t plan out the whole week at once because it depends on what I get done each day, so I just filled out Monday’s tasks.
And that’s pretty much how I do it! This helps me be organized and ready for the week ahead so I can get as much done as I need to.
How do you use your planner – or do you use a planner? Drop any sticker recs in the comments too!
